# Delivery Email – please include name

 * Up until the rewrite to EBD, we’ve been using Custom Sender for EBD ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sender-for-email-before-download](https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sender-for-email-before-download))
   which has worked well.
 * I’m seeing with the new version, there is a Delivery Email input which is great
   however it doesn’t allow for a Sender name which, without it, the email sent 
   has just the email address in the From which isn’t standard anymore, especially
   with company emails.
 * I tried using the standard template Company Name <contact@company.com> to see
   if it would work and it defaulted to the wordpress@ email address.
 * Is it possible to add a From name along with the email so the emails look more
   professional in email clients?

 * We will also see if we can make changes to support Custom Sender for EBD plugin(
   which we had never used so thanks for pointing that out).

 * Thanks for updating the plugin and adding the functionality, however….
 * I just tested and it looks like it’s removing the special characters, making 
   the company name lowercase and removing the spaces. The final From looks like
   this

   what is the syntax to use? indeed I used [requesting_name] but it doesn’t work
   anymore. thanks Adrien
