Hi, and thanks in advance for your assistance.

This is an issue that occurs AUSTRALIA WIDE, so any fix or workaround would be gratefully accepted by a lot of people.

In Australia, one postal code can have several suburbs in it. As an example, 5072 contains both Magill and Teringie.
For me, as an NGO and trying to minimise the costs, we have different rates we need to charge for delivery to each of those suburbs. One is an inner, and the other an outer delivery area.

I also have regions which are similar but organised as outer and no delivery where the post code is shared between towns.

What is the workaround? Is there a plugin in? I have looked at the table shipping which has been suggested, it wont work. Also, distance based wont work because some deliveries are closer but still not available to deliver to.

    Thanks again for any help.

Hi @seanbeee! Unfortunately, there isn’t a built-in option to set up shipping zones using cities built into WooCommerce. One option is to try a plugin such as this one. (Please take note I cannot vouch for this extension as I haven’t used it myself and it’s not one for which we provide support).

I’ll also leave this thread open in case anyone else in the community has any other suggestions.

    Hi @seanbeee

I’d recommend looking into using Conditional Shipping and Payments https://woocommerce.com/products/conditional-shipping-and-payments/

There’s a 30-Day Refund Policy http://www.woocommerce.com/refund-policy/. This would also grant you access to support in case you needed assistance with how to get this setup. That way you get to demo the product on your own site with your specific parameters.

If the product doesn’t work the way you need or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a refund.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
