Delicious Magazine Featured Panel Slider not showing

    Hi all,

    Situation: Featured panel enabled, posts are tagged with appropriate tag ‘featured’. The thumbnails on the right are working but the main panel isn’t.

    Using wordpress 3.5.1, woothemes delicious magazine 1.1.6 on their WooFramework 5.5.5.

    What i’ve tried:
    – deleting and re-installing theme
    – using vanilla settings and removing custom code
    – disabling all plugins
    – unpublishing all post, try one by one at the time
    – post have featured images, they also have the ‘featured’ tag
    – use static/latest post pages as front page display
    – tried different file sizes as featured images
    – replacing the jquery.min.js with google’s link
    – compare CSS code with other sites with same theme, nothing odd came up
    – read all forum posts regarding this issue on WP
    – woothemes support hasn’t been helpful

    I have a little php,html,css experience but i could not find what was causing the error.

    Argh typical, right after posting this i found the solution:
    I had tried replacing the ‘slides.min.jquery.js’ from the google api. didnt work.

    But what did work was going to the demo site at woothemes and downloading their ‘slides.min.jquery.js’ using the chrome element inspector, and replacing my own version using ftp /wp-content/themes/deliciousmagazine/includes/js/

    Now it’s working!

    I saw a bunch of threads with the same issue, hope my solution works for you too!
