• Hi,

The website (tm.mbs.ac.uk) is built on WordPress MU. I was trying to post delicious bookmarks onto one of the users’ blog by creating ‘blog posting’ in delicious settings. Though xml-rpc is enable on the website, I received the following message:

“ERROR: Failed due to XML RPC2 Exception: 405 : XML-RPC services are disabled on this blog.”

I entered http://username.mbs.ac.uk/xmlrpc.php as “out_url”. Is this the right one? What should it be?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

  • Sounds like you need to enable XML-RPC for that blog, under Settings -> Writing

    Hi Joseph,

Thanks for your reply. I can see the box before XML-RPC is ticked under Settings -> Writing. But somehow Delicious still returned this error message.
I wonder if there is anything to do with the xmlrpc.php I entered… thanks
