After deactivating your plugin and clicking delete I get this error “Deletion failed: error”.

This is the only plugin I get this error with.

My username is owner of the directory and permission of dir is 755.

I can delete the entire folder via ssh but i want the plugin to uninstall itself so it deletes what it added to the WP database or at least i hope it does that.

    Help?

You’ll want to update to version to 4.6.1, there was a bug in the uninstall/cleanup routine for 4.6.0.

Done thanks. Would there be something left on the database after uninstalling? tables, options? Shall i search for anything in particular?

Sorry for the delay, if you want to clean everything out for sure, you can remove anything in the wp_options table that has ewwww in the option_name, and then remove or empty the wp_ewwwio_images table. The wp_ewwwio_queue table should be empty already, that’s where the bug in the uninstall function was.
