    Hello
I have deleted an inactive user, who unsubsribed from a mailing list. But the “Subscriber count” hasnt’ gone down.

I deleted the user from the general WordPress User list, and also from the MailPoet lists.

What am I missing? Thank you.

ps – we don’t use woocommerce.

    Hi @heatherbodlak,

As you mentioned they were WordPress Users, have you tried to go to the MailPoet > Lists page and click the “Force sync” link below the WordPress Users list?

Also, it may take a while for the number of subscribers to sync and recalculate, depending on other tasks that are running on your website at the same time.

You can also check the MailPoet > Subscribers page and see when was the last time the Lists and Segments subscribers counts were calculated.

    Hello!
I did do that, I clicked various times on the “Recalculate” button…
    but no change.
I deleted two more to test today, (deleted from the main wordpress user list, and Deleted permanently from the Mailpoet Trash)…
Then clicked the resynch (recalculate) button…
but still no change in the number of subscribers.

    website is https://vdevegetal.com

ETA: I also clicked the “force synch” under “WordPress Users” on the lists page.

I think it’s possible I am reading the numbers wrong —
ie, I deleted wordpress users, who were already unsubsribed and not being counted?

Oh, that could be the case. Only subscribers listed as “Subscribed”, “Inactive” and “Unconfirmed” are counted towards the subscribers limit for your plan.

In your case, that would be 339+136+26 = 501, which seems correct when checking the screenshot you shared with us.

    Hi there @heatherbodlak,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
