Deleting Sidebar and Page Width Issue

Hello,

First time poster, but long time lurker on form. Thank you to all for so much great info, I hope to be able to contribute to the knowledge base as I learn more.

I’m trying to drop the sidebar and adjust the width on my page template (http://constructionei.com/about). I figured out how to drop the sidebar by deleting get_sidebar. When I do this I run into two issues:

1. The text in the body still wants to be aligned left and not centered. Any ideas on how to tweak this and center the text?

2. My navigation buttons in the upper right collapse on me as well when I do this. They all bunch up when I change the width from 960 to 750. Do I need to create a new CSS class to get the buttons to remain the same?
