Deleting options

Faced such problem: I create the goods and add options to it, then I duplicate the goods and I want to change the options in it to others. To do this, I delete the options from the child product and add it to the new one. In the parent product, options are replaced with options from the child. How to avoid this? That is, that when copying the goods, the options of the child and the parent do not change during editing.

I have so far found one way out – to create an item again and give it options, but copying will save a lot of time
