Deleting 'Leave a Reply' and Blog archive on some pages

    Hi,

    I’m trying to delete the ‘Leave a Reply’ form that appears at the bottom of my pages, and also delete the blog text in the right column that says ‘Recent Posts’ ‘Comments’ ‘Archives’ etc. (I would like to insert images in the right column instead). However, I want to leave these items on one of my pages (i.e. only have a blog on one of the pages). Is this possible? If so, would appreciate any tips on how to do that.

    Thanks!

    This is possible. Can you post you web address?

    You can get rid or respond two ways
    if you want to do it site wide
    #respond {
    display:none;
    }

    Or on each page by going up to the screen options area on the page editor clicking discussion box- scroll to discussion and uncheck the comment box.

    To delete the boxes on the right go to widget and takeout all the items in the widget area – if there are no items add the text widget item to the area and leave the widget blank.

    Hope this helps

    @soco,
    I don’t want to do it site wide. I want to leave it on one page only.

    I already tried taking out the widgets but it removes them from all of the pages.

    Do you have any other ideas on how to leave it on one page?

    Also, I’d like to insert images and videos in the right column if possible but don’t know how to do that either.

    Thanks.
