I was unhappy with some of the header images I’d uploaded to be presented at random so I deleted them from the server and uploaded new ones. Now the site randomly displays one of the newer uploads or no header at all – I guess it thinks the older images are still there. Can someone tell me where to delete the connection to these older files. (And perhaps suggest why this is so difficult and unintuitive.)
    Thanks

When the empty header showed up as one of the random images, I right-clicked > view background image, which took me to a 404 with the name of the deleted image in the url. The connection to that now missing image was in the database Posts table. Once I deleted that entry the deleted header image was no longer being ‘looked for’ by the random header generator. I’m impressed that I had to get into the database to correct a problem so easily come by.
