Deleting Comments in Twenty Ten, WP version 3.1

    I just went in to delete some pending comments. They are highlighted in yellow but no longer have the check box next to them to select the ones I want to delete and then select “move to trash” and bulk apply. There is no way to select them individually or, for that matter, to even delete these comments that are selected. I have several of these WP blogs but this is the first time I have seen this. Does anyone know how to delete these? I’m using the basic Twenty Ten theme for this one.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I’m using the Twenty Ten theme but have not tried disabling the plug-ins. I will try that and let you know if it works.
