Support » Theme: Storefront » Deleting Categories: “New In”, “Fan Favorites” and “Best Sellers”

I have used Storefront on several other websites and never encountered this before: In WordPress – on my “Front Page”, I have made three shopping categories available. I want to keep these. Immediately under “Shop By Category” I would like my “Shop” page to show and I am unable to figure out how to do this. Instead, what I see is three other category sections that I would like to delete and I have not been able to figure-out how to do this. The sections I would like to delete are: “New In”, “Fan Favorites” and “Best Sellers”.

I am sorry to trouble you with this. I have tried everything and remain stuck.

    Thank you,
    Tom Ruley

  • Hi @captntom

When it came to editing these, I used a plug in called HOMEPAGE CONTROL to edit and switch around those homepage categories. You may also be able to use shortcode to get your entire shop to appear on the homepage beneath those categories. You’d use widgets to help with displaying them. Hope this helps! 🙂

@captntom – the plugin that @dragondandy suggested can be found here and that’s one that we’ve also built; it’ll do the trick indeed. https://wordpress.org/plugins/homepage-control/

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
