• Does Disqus have a built in way for me to remove all comments in my WP database before syncing with Disqus again? I see in the settings I can sync with Disqus, but that doesn’t remove the comments in my WP database (I don’t think).

The reason is my site gets attacked by spambots and I get thousands of spam comments. Disqus filters them all out, but they are still in my WP database, so they show up when I do some custom queries.

Is there any reason I shouldn’t just delete all my WP comments and then sync with Disqus? I’m just worried about unforeseen issues doing that. I can’t delete them from the Comments menu in WP admin because there are hundreds of pages of them, but I could use some other plugin to clean them.
