I have had this happen twice now. I go in and select several 404 errors that I want to delete. I then use Bulk Actions to select delete and then press the button to delete them. A message comes up asking me if I want to confirm deleting “all” and when I agree, it deletes ALL the 404 errors, not just all the selected ones that I wanted to delete. This seems to be a bug to me.

Did you click the ‘all’ bulk action button?

I see that now, perhaps I did. But that isn’t intuitive, because it does not match standard WP behavior. For example, the bulk buttons on the top and bottom of the plugins page or the posts page both do the same thing.

If you want to perform an all action like that on the posts page for example, you just have to set the screen options to show all posts at once.

I’ll be more careful next time but i would suggest you either make it match standard WP behavior or make the language used in the warning clearer, something along the lines of “This will delete your entire 404 error log.”
