# Deleted Tags

 * We seem to have an issue where Taxopress is auto linking to deleted tags.
   Is 
   there a way to stop this happening?

 * In WordPress, once a term is deleted, it literally does not exist on your site
   any more.

 * I thought that was the case, once deleted they are gone.
   I will check further
   at this end and come back to you with more information

   It seems this was an issue at our end, and nothing to do
