Deleted photos keep returning

    Hi,

    I have a lot of photos in my Media library that i am not using anymore due to deleting the posts.

    I have ´permanently´ deleted almost 1000 pictures last friday. The day after (saturday) all the pictures were back in my media library. I deleted them again.
    Now today, all 1000 of them are back again.

    I am kinda getting annoyed now as it takes a while to find the unattached fotos and delete them (even with the bulk selection)

    Can someone please expain why i am not permanently deleting them or how I can actually delete them?

    Are you deleting those photos from FTP or using the Delete option in the WP backend?

    Hi,

    I am deleting them from the wp backend in the media library.
    Even if i open every photo click delete permanently it doesnt work.

    They are deleted for awhile, but the next day, they are back.
