• This thing is dangerous! After a newly installed WordPress 4.5.3, I created a post and continuously updated it with about 20 revisions over a 2 hour stretch.

Seeing all the revisions build up and having been a previous user of the now defunct Better Delete Revisions, I decided to install this plugin due to all the ratings and 5 star reviews.

You know what this thing did? After ticking the “Clean all post revisions” and pressing the Process button, this plugin deleted all but one of my revisions, INCLUDING THE MOST RECENT REVISION!!!!

I lost 2 hours of editing because of this!

  • It is supposed to delete all the revisions, that’s why it says
    “Clean all post revisions”

Every post is going to have multiple revisions to it during the course of writing. This plugin should NOT delete the last revision to a post or page.

You lose all your current work!

Thats sounds like a good idea. Option to keep last few revisions should help .

So is this only the case if nothing has actually been published? If you have something (a post or page) in a draft state only it will be deleted but if you have published (made available publicly) then that will remain?

I am trying to find a way to optimize my site as I find it has slowed down.

    Thanks,
    Devin
