# Delete uncategorized page

 * When I do a google search a default “uncategorized page comes up.”

 * I am using wordpress for its comments feature not blogging…
 * By default there is a category called “uncategorized”.
    My question is how can
   I delete this page so that it doesnt show up on google?

 * You need to have at least one category for WordPress, so I would recommend that
   you simply rename that category.

 * thanks. I have tried that. Note I needed to add a “description” in order for 
   it to apply.
    I will see if this shows up on google. thanks again… x ur fingers…:)
