 * Hi, I’m new here and I’d like to use wordpress for my site.
    I will go studying
   the wordpress stuff because it works great. But I want to use WordPress for my
   site for now. So I don’t want the comments to show on the page or anyone being
   able to do so. I found that you can set reaction to 1, though not to zero. Can’t
   really find a tutorial which works, tried some but they don’t do the job. Anyone
   here? Thanx

 * there is no need for a tutorial;
 * there are the ‘dashboard’ ‘settings’ ‘discussion’ options;
    then there are ‘discussion’
   options in the ‘edit post’ and ‘edit page’ pages, below the editor window. (you
   may need to enable these in thee’screen options’ for these pages)
 * and the code related to comments will have the word ‘comment’ in it, so it is
   easy to spot in the template files.
    for instance `comments_popup_link()' (usually
   in index.php, archive.php, loop.php ...);`comments_template()` (ususaly in single.
   php, page.php, loop.php …)
