Please delete them as no static files are used anymore or try to delete them automatically.” * If I delete the files automatically, will I have to resubmit my sitemap to google websmasters tool? The site I have currently submitted is mydomainname.com/sitemap. xml. That means you can’t see the sitemap.xml file with your FTP program anymore. If there is one, you should rename or delete it, so the plugin can serve the dynamically generated file.
