    Hi,

    I created a new taxonomy, say ‘country’, and then added some values like Canada, Egypt, India etc.
    Then I deleted the taxonomy ‘country’ and recreated it with the same name. It showed that the values Canada, Egypt, India were already there and not deleted along with the pod.

    So should I manually delete all the values/data before deleting a pod? What would be the best practice here?

    Howdy Akshay,

    Yes, it’s best to Delete All Data in a Pod before actually deleting it because Deleting a Pod will save the values in the WordPress database. We could probably be a little better about explaining that, but my best practice is always: Delete All Data, then Delete Pod.

    Hi. Does this mean one can recover a deleted pod if one didn’t delete the data first? Can you outline the steps? Thanks.

    @enquirer32 Sorry missed your reply to this. It’s best not to reply to Resolved topics because we will probably never see your post. It’s better to open your own.

    As to recovering a deleted Pod if you didn’t delete the data, nope, probably not, at least not easily. I can’t outline the steps in that because it’s primarily all database. Backup before deleting 😉
