# Delete plugin data

 * Is it possible to completely delete all data and settings I have made in the
   plugin? I noticed that simply deactivating and deleting the plugin doesn’t delete
   the data.
   I am trying to debug an issue on my site.

 * [@aronu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/aronu/) I have not implemented that
   functionality / settings yet. Meanwhile, you can use SQL Buddy plugin and look
   up for admin_site_enhancements option in wp_options and delete it manually.
 * Is the issue you’re debugging related to ASE? if so, what is it?

 * Hi, for some reason, if I make changes to any of the settings in the ASE plugin,
   after clicking save, the page redirects me to my website’s homepage.
 * If I go back to the ASE plugin settings page, to check, I will find that the
   setting I just made didn’t register/save.
   Basically, I can’t save any new changes
   to the ASE plugin settings.
 * I am not sure when this problem started but it wasn’t there when I first installed
   the plugin.
 * I have tried deactivating all the other plugins on my site leaving only the ASE
   plugin, but I still get the same issue
 * This is why I am looking for a way to hard reset the plugin.
   Your instruction
   to reset the plugin didn’t work. I didn’t find admin_site_enhancements option
   in wp_options database table.I would be glad if you could assist me.Thank you.

 * [@aronu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/aronu/) looks like an issue caused
   by some sort of plugin conflict. Can you provide a list of all the plugins you
   have beside ASE? You can use [https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-system-status/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-system-status/)
   and then send the TXT file to qriouslad [at] gmail.
 * Otherwise, you can also try again with SQL Buddy following these screenshots.
   Should work nicely to reset if you delete all three ASE-related options:
    - Search: [https://www.imagebam.com/view/MEMH83G](https://www.imagebam.com/view/MEMH83G)
    - Delete: [https://www.imagebam.com/view/MEMH83H](https://www.imagebam.com/view/MEMH83H)

 * I was able to reset the plugin following your screenshots. It now works well.
   I can save my settings.
 * Thanks a lot.

 * I don’t know if I should start a new thread for this, but I noticed another challenge.

   In the custom code section, If I add a code (Either CSS or head, body, footer
   code) and save, it redirects to my website’s 404 page.This only happens for custom
   code. Other sections work normally.I have forwarded you a list of all the plugins
   on my website (from this email ezugov2008 [at] yahoo.com

 * [@aronu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/aronu/) glad to hear you were able
   to reset the settings. As for the custom code, can you also copy here (or send
   via email) the CSS / script you are adding to each of the custom code module?
   I haven’t tested those module with a wide variety of CSS and scripts yet, so,
   there could be a bug there with certain type of code….

 * Resolved!
   I noticed that the problem also occurred when I use other code snippets
   plugin on my site. This made me realize that the problem is not with the ASE
   plugin but with my site’s configuration. So, I contacted my hosting company and
   they were able to fix it. According to them, ModSecurity was turned ON for my
   domain which prevented me from injecting code into my site, so they disabled
   it.

 * [@aronu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/aronu/) I’m revisiting ASE’s old(
   er) support threads to appreciate the feedback you’ve given in improving ASE
   with a sneak peak of, and discount code you can get for the soon-to-be-released
   Pro version of ASE.
 * If you’re interested, please contact me at [https://bowo.io](https://bowo.io)
   so I can send you the link to the website and the discount code.
