 * I think it would be useful to have at least one of these features:
 * a) Add a user-activable option to automatically delete past opening exceptions(
   when an exception is passed, delete it to keep the form cleaner).
 * b) Add a button next to the one for deleting selected special times with the
   same function as a), i.e., deleting all past events, which will no longer be
   displayed in the front office.

 * [@scardovi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/scardovi/) The past special events
   can be cleared at any time by removing the date in the Special opening hours.
   If the Shortcode is set with the relative dates, it will just disappear when
   it’s outside of the range.
 * I can look at the same functionality, say a button, within the opening hours
   management if that needs to be clearer.

   I should add that there is already an automatic clean up: past special opening
   hours are removed once they are 14 days old, so they shouldn’t build up over
   time.
 * In version 2.7 you’ll be able to change that with the `we_are_open_special_cut_off`
   option, or a filter of the same name, using any value from 365 down to -2. That
   covers keeping a year of history at one end, or having a date removed up to two
   days before it arrives at the other.

 * Great! Thank you.
