Why, oh why, when I want to delete multiple paragraphs can I not select all the paragraphs and press a delete button? It drives me crazy that I now have to delete each paragraph individually by clicking to get the menu thing and then pressing delete block or by selecting all the text, but only the text in that one block, nothing outside it, and pressing delete. It’s a royal pain.

are you trying to delete multiple adjacent blocks on a page or post?
on one of my test sites I clicked on 3 adjacent paragraph blocks and pressed delete key on my keyboard. seemed to work to make the blocks disappear.

    Hi @walton

You can delete multiple blocks by selecting them and pressing the delete key. You just have to do is hold the left click of mouse and select all blocks and then press the delete key of keyboard. This will remove all your blocks.

Ah, it’s a Microsoft edge thing. Whenever you select text, a little menu appears so you can select copy or paste or whatever. You have to wait a second for that to fade before deleting works. It seems to be triggered with the Gutenberg blocks though, but not other text. Whatever they do to Gutenberg seems to always screw something else up.

Forgot to say THANK YOU for the feedback! I thought I’d lose my mind!
