# Delete Membership Level

 * Somehow an additional membership level was created. I did not do this. I was 
   checking the Membership Levels page and I noticed a new level in the Levels table.
   I don’t know how it got there. It has no title. It looks like a duplicate of 
   the Free Level that I created many days ago, but no title in the Level. I tried
   to delete it and nothing happens when I click on delete.
 * How do I get rid of this?

 * I assigned the name ‘FAKE’ to this Level. Then I looked at a Post edit page and
   I see in the Membership Levels that this Level has an asterisk next to the name.
   What is going on?

 * Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.
 * This sounds like you have a duplicated level. An asterisk next to a category 
   means that the category is restricted to a membership level.
 * I can’t say why this happened on your site, as this sounds like a once off incident.
 * Are you able to delete the level once you’ve named it to “Fake”? Does this level
   ID match that of any of your other levels?
