Delete Custom Profile Tabs

    There seems to be a bug with Custom Profile Tabs (CPT).

    When I create a CPT it is listed under Global Settings > Profile Tab Settings (PTS) which is the correct behaviour. However, if I:

    (a) rename the CPT (in the Custom Tabs editor) results in a new tab in the PTS so there are then two CPT’s one of which no longer exists in the custom Tabs Editor. Obviously, this means a tab name should only be changed in the PTS (which I did not know at the time).

    (b) delete the CPT (in the Custom Tabs editor) this still leaves the tab in the PST (although it can be hidden from the front end).

    Is a way to delete obsolete tabs from the PTS?

    As a general comment, I think there should be a delete option in the PTS or a code change so when a CPT is deleted from the Custom Tabs editor it is also deleted from the PST.
