Delete account or change username

    Hello.
    I would like to change my username. However, as far as I understand this is not possible. As a result I would like to delete my WordPress accounts. How can I do that?

    Delete account or change username

    Both of those are not possible here on wordpress.org. Though you can change the display name however you see fit.

    Changing the display name works and there is no such thing as “branding” here for a user ID on the forums.

    Or you can create a new account with a different email address (do not post any email addresses here), post that new account here and I will block your old account with a note in it.

    If you go that route then please reply back here. When people post here using multiple accounts a misunderstanding usually occurs and sometimes both accounts end up blocked.
