Support » Plugin: Delete Me » Delete account button takes other function

    Hi there,

I installed the plugin and I intended to use the shortcode with “Form instead of link”. I am using woocommerce, I added the shortcode in the edit account template and it shows up. The only problem I’ve got is that the button ‘Delete Account’, when pressed (after adding the password), takes the functions of ‘Save changes’ button of the edit profile page (the one that when you edit any field in the page by pressing it you save its data) so instead of deleting the account and redirecting to the homepage it displays the message that the changes have been saved. I’ve added the shortcode below the ‘save changes’ button, but I also tried positioned it somewhere else but it seems that it doesn’t allow ‘Delete Account’ button to work properly, it’s just getting the functions of ‘Save changes’.

It works perfectly with the link and JS confirm enabled instead of form but I like the feature of letting users add their password before deleting their account.

Any help would be very much appreciated!
    Thank you

I would just put a regular link to a new delete account page that would then contain the password confirm form. You’re probably getting the behavior described because you put the password form inside another form.
