Hi,
What do you mean “Should do the trick”?
If you disable the plugin and then delete the plugin via your admin panel it should delete the plugin completely from your site.
Kind regards
Hi
Do you mean the admin panel WordPress dashboard?
So this plugin doesn’t leave any data when I delete it from the WordPress dashboard?
Hi,
As far as I know no. What kind of data do you think it is going to leave behind?
Regards
Data such as wp_option and others, is there any? Usually, other plugins will leave that data
Hi,
I have never tested this myself. You can use the following plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-database-cleaner/ to delete any tables left behind in your database. If you find any tables or data left behind, can you share your findings here to help others.
Thank you
Hi
Haven’t you created any databases in your plugins yet? Plugin developers should know
Hi, I just ran a test in a vanilla installation. The only table added by the plugin is swpsmtp_options. This table can be found under options table in the database.
Also remember that the plugin has the following feature Delete Settings and Deactivate Plugin in Additional Settings.
Let me know if the above helps you.
Thank you
