• Noticed this on both my blogs.
Write new entry, click ‘Publish’ but nothing gets seen on the site, even with a hard refresh.
If I then go to Edit that entry, but just click Publish again when the edit screen appears, then the entry does get published to the screen.

  • I had this on the 28th nightly.
I had advanced editing mode selected as default. And I could not publish at all.
I had to select normal mode as default and then post. Only then I could post.

The nightlies have a new behaviour that makes use of MySQL query caching to boost performance on high traffic weblogs. Basically instead of taking posts written before yyyy:mm:dd hh:mm:ss for the current time, the seconds are always set to 00. This means some posts may take up to 59 seconds to be displayed on the front page. Nothing to worry about, though we’re discussing about doing this in a better way.

simple michael v.. instead of set at 00, why not set them at 59 ??…
