# Delay

 * I am using a custom SVG to indicate Favorite status.
 * The loading spinner displays on page load and then the SVG appears. When I click
   the SVG there is a delay and then the alternate SVG appears. I am concerned that
   users will keep clicking the icon thinking it’s not working.
 * Is there a way to speed up the toggle or show the loading icon again on click?

 * Based on the documentation it seems that your default loading icon should be 
   showing on click, but it does not? I tried using the default icons vs svg = same
   behavior.

 * Now I am in the same issue as you. It is only reflected 4 ~ 5 seconds after pressing
   the button. Have you solved this problem?

 * I ended up using this plugin [https://wordpress.org/plugins/my-favorites/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/my-favorites/)
   pretty simple and fits our needs.
