# Defer initial payment

 * I would like to offer my users a free trial before any money is taken from their
   account.
 * Whilst I want the users to enter their paypal details before accessing my content,
   is is possible to defer the first subscription payment for say 7 days?

 * Currently there isn’t any option in the plugin to do this. It would require a
   lot of alteration of registration process with Membership.

 * If you are providing free trial initially then you do not need to defer the first
   subscription payment as you can just extend the free trial period.
