After updating to version 5.10.0, it conflicts with Elementor Pro version 3.35.7
It causes it to switch to safe mode.
Disabling the plugin resolved the issue.
The plugin handles security tasks well.

    Hello @kolosmykola

Thanks for taking some time to review our plugin. We work hard to maintain it and provide tools that can help users like you.

Regarding your issue, can you let us know more about it? What kind of issues did you experienced? As right now, the latest version of Elementor Pro is 3.35.1, released on 2026-02-11. Meanwhile, Elementor (not Pro) latest version is 3.35.7. During my tests on a lab site, I couldn’t find any errors or conflicts where Defender was active (version 5.10.0). PHP 8.3 and WordPress 6.9.4.

I suggest you to make a backup of your site, and run a Conflict Test following the flowchart we made here:
    https://wpmudev.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif

In order to check if perhaps another component of your site is causing this.

    Kind regards,
    Jair.
