# Default WP Username

    The site I am working on is mainly to show a Company Directory
 * When a new user registers the default WP username is their first and last names
   
   however my client wants the default WP username in the backend to be the company
   name which is a custom field in the registration form I have created Is there
   a way of doing this please

 * A username is a unique value. Let’s say there are 10 employees in a company. 
   They cannot register the same company name as the username.

    I understand that, but there would never be more than
   one person in a company that would register given it is over £500 to join

 * Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > General > Users > User Display
   Name > Choose “Custom fields” > Add the company field key and then hit on Save.

 * Could you please check the meta key of the Company field in the Register Form?
   Can you confirm that the meta key is `company` ?
