    I have the default view set to Month with an option for the visitor to change it to List. Ideally I would like to have it as Month on Desktop and List on mobiles. Is that possible please? If not, personally I think it would be a great feature to have this option.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    The feature you’re looking for is already available in our plugin — you can set a different default view for desktop and mobile.

    Just follow these steps:

    1. Go to Events > Settings > Display
    2. Look for the Default View (for desktop)
    3. Then set the Default Mobile View accordingly

    Thank you Darian I am not seeing “Default Mobile View” on that page, just “Default View“.

    Can you provide more detailed instructions, with maybe a screenshot please? Do I need to enable anything somewhere else in the settings to access this?

    Hi @rodeboy

    Apologies for the confusion — I didn’t realize that The Events Calendar PRO was enabled on my test site, which is why the “Default Mobile View” option appeared.

    Unfortunately, this setting is not available in the free version of the plugin.

    I’d like to re-iterate that the feature to be able to select a default calendar view for mobile exists with the Events Calendar Pro (premium/add-on) plugin.
