# Default user role not working

 * Hello,
    I set the default user role to a custom user role with specific permissions
   which was created using a widget. Now when a user registers, he does not get 
   this role but instead gets the old default role, any ideas on why this is happening
   and how to resolve.

 * You probably meant using a custom-roles plugin, in which case I recommend that
   you should check the documentation or support forum for that particular plugin.
