default user role error

    hi,

    i have installed wordpress and in settings have set default user role to subscriber but when new user sign up it is coming as customer, and also i had installed ultimate member plugin , i tried deactivating it and try again , but no use, even though default role is set to subscriber, new user are getting created as customer, how do i fix this

    New user as customer? Are you using any other plugin or theme?

    yes, i am using themify shoppe theme and other plugings such as woocomerce,dokan,directories, and many more

    I suggest you to check out the plugin settings. The customer profile might be coming from WooCommerce, that could be the reason new users are labeled as customer
