 * I just launched a WordPress blog site (myfundraisingproject.com) and noticed
   that the header & footer are a little off when viewed in IE within the single
   post. It looks fine in Firefox.
 * I’m using the default WordPress theme and am a newbie when it comes to html,
   css, php, etc.
 * Is there an easy fix for this problem?
 * Thanks,
 * Scott…

 * You’re 2 versions behind. Default theme “1 pixel shift” is fixed in WP 2.0.4.

 * How do I know what version of WordPress am I on?

 * Login as Admin. Look at the bottom of any Admin page.
 * Or, view source of any blog page. In the `<head>` section, look for:
    `<meta
   name="generator" content="WordPress 2.0.2" /> <!-- leave this for stats -->`
 * (that one’s from your profile link)

 * Ok. I upgraded to the latest version. It now says 2.0.4 — 0.20 seconds at the
   bottom of the Admin…Dashboard page.
 * The single post is still off in IE. Did I do something wrong during the upgrade?
 * I didn’t delete the wp files before the upgrade. I just copied over (replace
   existing – yes).
 * Thanks,
 * Scott…..

 * Make absolutely sure you got the newest wp-content/themes/default folder.

 * … oh, and clear your browser cache

 * I found the problem. I was displaying an ad in the single post that was too wide.
   Firefox seems to be able to adjust it whereas IE didn’t. I decreased the width
   and now it doesn’t mess up my Header & Footer in the single post.
 * Thanks for your help.
