 * Hi there.
 * I started making a custom theme and called it “Default”, but in wp-admin I get
   this error:
 * Update Available
    There is a new version of Default available. [View version 1.7.2 details](https://wordpress.org/themes/default/)
   or update now.
 * WP seems to think just because I named the theme folder, “default” my theme is
   this: [https://wordpress.org/themes/default/](https://wordpress.org/themes/default/)
 * How can I stop this happening?

 * This will happen with any name already used in the WordPress repository. There
   has been some effort to switch to using some sort of hash instead of the theme
   slug, but it hasn’t happened yet. Easiest option for you is to use a different
   name. Besides, Default is not a very good name, given that WordPress uses that
   term also to refer to the bundled theme that takes over if the active theme has
   an error.
