    Ah.. yes that lorem-ipsum text is included by default when there is no default message text. It is only added to submitted posts, not to all posts, just for the record.

    Thanks Jeff, so to confirm this is a WordPress function rather that USP doing that?

    Actually it is the plugin doing that, and for the record it is only adding the lorem-ipsum text to user-submitted posts, not all posts.

    Thanks, to get around this I substituted the “Lorem” text to a single space on line 83 of user-submitted-posts.php

    If you set it to nothing it won’t accept posts

    That works. I’ll get this fixed in the next update, thanks for the feedback 🙂

    Hi I installed this plugin at http://howtosection.com/ but the shortcode isn’t working when I added in the sidebar. If you check the home page you cannot see any form in the sidebar

    Hi masterblogster, please make sure you’re posting only on relevant threads to help everyone stay organized. That said, it sounds like another plugin may be interfering.. one way to check is to disable all plugins until the shortcode works.
