    Hi,

    yes, the code in that post is apparently wrong, and indeed does what you describe, instead of what was asked there… Sorry about that.
    Please take a look at this recent thread where you will find the correct code for the default sort: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/column-type

    great, that did the trick.

    a shame the aforementioned thread is locked and ergo cannot be corrected.
