This is my setup. All jobs all approved. My HR staff only needs to change job status to “filled” or “not filled” in order to close or open a position.

The problem I’m facing now is, the default search (“Any Category” + all type checked) doesn’t show any result – Msg: There are no listings matching your search.

If I make any changes on the filter, it will works perfectly as normal.

I faced this since last version 1.28, which the very first version I start using WP Job Manager. I wonder anybody had the same issue as I? My temporary solution is using shortcode arguments – keywords/location.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • oh no. my temporary solution is not working anymore. lol

new temp solution – added a dummy job type. hide it with css. use shortcode arguments selected_job_types to change filter in order to override default search

Hi @newlich so is the issue that jobs shortcode stops returning results? We’ve had reports of this but haven’t nailed down the solution other then reinstalling the plugin.

Yes. [jobs] without any argument, meaning with the default filter (“Any Category” + all type checked) nothing will show on the list.

Ultimately, my final solution is –> I’m not using the Job Filled or Not Filled feature anymore. I taught my HR either change their status to Trash or Active for changing a job avaibility.
