# Default Profile Visibility

 * how could it be done that either:
 * 1) The default profile visibility is set to private for a specific role?
 * 2) A specific roles profile can not be accessed.
 * 3) Profile visibility is changed ins bulk?

 * Yes, it is possible to set “Can view other member profiles? and Can view these
   user roles only” in the Ultimate member -> User Roles -> your user role e.g. 
   Member.

 * Hello,
 * Not quite what I would ned.
 * E.g. I have a role “Private” and “Public”
 * for each role private the profile should not be publicly accessible by default.
   For all others it would be fine.
 * I am not concernede what the role can access but who can access that roles profile.

 * Were you able to come up with a solution here? We want to hide a couple of roles
   from public view, so that even the direct link to their profile doesn’t work 
   for non- logged in users. I gather this is similar to what you were looking to
   do?
