 * I don’t think BuddyPress supports this, however a helpful guy posted a suggestion
   here that might help you:

 * I’m not sure if I expressed myself clearly. What I mean is surely if I could 
   make “My Friends” the first option in Privacy setting in the Status update box
   it would do the trick?

 * This isn’t an option. But you could perhaps use jQuery to remove class=”selected”
   from all the options and then add it to the friends option.
