Upgraded to the latest version, all the pages created by the plugin are gone.

    Deactivated/reactivated: no change.

    Deactivated/deleted/re-installed, no change.

Went back to 3.5.8… no change. Upgrade to 3.6.5 no change.

Hi, please read the following documentation. Let me know if you need more help.

    Thank you

I already fixed the site in question by installing on a blank site, exporting the pages, then importing into the live site.

But the question remains: why would an update wipe out pages like that… and then refuse to recreate them?

It seems like a button to “auto create” missing pages (or a download to an xml file with all the pages to import) would be far
more useful than those docs… and not a ton of work. I’m a plugin dev so I know it’s easy to suggest features, but this one does seem like a no-brainer if the plugin is useless without those pages…

Not to mention an admin notice that critical pages don’t exist… would have allowed me to catch this before my client did.

    Hi,

But the question remains: why would an update wipe out pages like that… and then refuse to recreate them?

I have tested this plugin in many sites while updating the plugin and I have never experienced this issue myself. So I could not really tell you why this happened in your site except to say that maybe there was a conflict with one of your plugins.

I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.

    Thank you

Hi, Yeah I have been meaning to add an option for re-creating the pages. I will try to add it very soon.

I have added an option for this in the “Tools” menu of the plugin.
