[Resolved] Default message following registration or verification process

    You can go to Settings > Register Plus Redux > New User Message Settings, and hit the “Enable” at “Custom New User Message”.
    Now you can edit the email template, removing the password field (what I just did).

    rafaelleite is correct, you can define any type of email you like using the Custom New User Message.

    Thanks and I did figure that out a couple of weeks ago.

    However, the message I have going out uses the opening line of “Dear %user_login%” where the %user_login% is an email address. How can I specify the users first name to be used in the message?

    %=first_name% would get you the first name field.
