# Default Layout

 * Hi there,
 * I recently noticed I am not able to modify the layout of my pages under the Layout
   Settings. I no longer see an option to change from the default layout.
 * I am using Window 7, Firefox 50.0.2
 * Please advise.

 * Layout settings is not a Core function – it is most likely a theme issue – or
   could be a from a plugin, possibly bundled with your theme.
 * What theme are you using?

 * Thank you for your response. My theme is I am currently using is Executive Child
   Theme. How would I know if it in this theme or from a plugin?

 * To rule out plugin issues deactivate them all. Then, activate one at a time. 
   When issue comes back, that last plugin activated is the issue. Deactivate it
   and contact plugin provider.
 * If it’s not a plugin issue, could be the theme. Since a default theme does not
   have ‘layout options’, it’s then likely that.
 * Who setup the child theme? Did you ask them about this?
 * That said, the Parent theme of the Child Theme, [not found here](https://wordpress.org/themes/search/executive/),
   then it’s a [Commercial Product](https://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products)–
   you should contact the folks it came from and/or the creator of the Child Theme.
