Default latest posts in Homepage

    Dear Vedatheme,

    I’m using your theme for my website and I really like it. However I have a small problem with default latest posts in Homepage (that you can find them in the end of the website). I also checked in widgets tab to make sure that there’s no widget may cause this problem. Can you help to check and give me some advice to solve it?

    By the way, before sending this question, I scrolled through the topics in case if there’s similar question (I guess there isn’t right?) and I really appreciate how you answer every topic. You have to be very kind person for sure; and thanks a lot for wonderful theme that you created 😀

    Oh, really sorry that I missed my core question. I want to remove default latest posts in Homepage but don’t know how 😀

    Hi there,

    Thanks for trying Bayleaf Theme.

    There are two ways to solve your problems.

    Easy solution
    1. Go to Dashborad > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
    2. Copy & Paste following CSS in the left sidebar text field,

    .home #content {
	display: none;
}

    3. Click ‘Publish’ button on the top.

    Best Solution
    1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New (Create a new page)
    2. Add any title to the newly created page. (for example, ‘My Home Page’).
    3. On right sidebar, look for Page Attributes tab. Click on it and select ‘Header-Blank-Footer’ template from the drop-down.
    4. ‘Publish’ your newly created page.
    5. Now go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings.
    6. Select ‘A Static Page’ radio button.
    7. For Homepage, choose your newly created page from the dropdown (i.e. ‘My Home Page’)
    8. Click ‘Publish’ button on the top.

    Hope this will solve the issue. Kindly inform if you need more help on this.

    I try with easy solution and it worked!!! At first I intended to solve it as your best solution but I didn’t know how to do it. Thanks a lot for your guidance 😉
