    Hello,
today I regenerated CSS files using the Elementor Tools button.

All global Elementor settings were restored to defaults.

After some digging I found that:

    – the css file in wp-content/upload/elementor/css/ folder of the Default Kit template was deleted (thanks to git)
    – the value of elementor_active_kit (post id of default kit template) in wp_options database table was changed with a new one
    – the new one was actually a newly created default kit post, but the content was the elementor default colors and fonts

    I’ve solved doing this:

    a) restored the original deleted css
    b) changed the value of elementor_active_kit using the old default kit post id
    c) regenerate again the css with elementor tools function

    I have 2 questions:

    1) is it normal behaviour of Elementor that when regenerating css files it actually create a new default kit and uses that new one?
    2) is there some risk in the fix I’ve applied?

NB: I have latest versions of WP (5.7), Elementor (3.1.4) and Elementor Pro (3.2.1), Hello Elementor theme (2.3.1) with a child theme.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
