    Hello,

    On line 801 of the plugin’s core.php file, the JPEG quality level for retina images is hardcoded with a value of 90:

    // Quality
    $quality = get_option( 'wr2x_quality', 90 );
    $image->set_quality( $quality );

    Is there a setting in the free version of the plugin to be able to choose a value for wr2x_quality?

    If not, would it be possible to have the plugin respect the JPEG quality setting used by WordPress (jpeg_quality) rather than hardcoding the value 90?

    Thanks!
    -David

    Hi David,

    You right 🙂 I changed the code, and it will use the default quality set in WordPress. Indeed, that option was removed in order to simplify the UI for everyone.
